Account Creation and Management

Accounts are not required to use many of the features of National Conservation Easement Database Portal (NCED Portal). Anyone can browse easements via the map and search tools without an account. Accounts are required for features that involve entering an easement record, using the My Easements account management features, downloading sub sets of data, or contacting the NCED project team.

In addition to their technical value, accounts also give the NCED project team the ability to contact account holders if there are any questions relating to the accuracy or appropriateness of their easement submissions.

Accounts are free and only require sharing a minimum of personal information (name, e-mail address, city, state and ZIP Code).
